Nheena is the founder of the UP Children's Museum and has cultivated what the museum is now today, through her passion and creativity. Nheena's hard work, compassion for others and flare to always "make it fun" really makes everyone around her want to be apart of the museum. She has helped with more community projects than we could name!
Nheena is an amazing friend, mom, grandma, wife, community advocate, volunteer, director and mentor to all.
Nheena, thank you for being who you are. As you near the end of an amazing tenure we honor you, and we want to continue the legacy and example you've laid out.
The funding we raise from this campaign will create a legacy mural of Nheena in the newly named Nheena's Neighborhood, but it will do more that that. Nheena wanted to leave the museum with little to no debt and in order to do that her last goal was to pay off the last remaining loan the museum has. Let the support of this project for Nheena's Neighborhood help her to do just that, all while enshrining her forever in the very fabric of the museum itself!
You can support this effort by donating here using the orange Support button! Sponsorship levels include:
$10 gets you a warm fuzzy virtual hug from Nheena, and your name will forever be on a proclamation that will hang in her Neighborhood!
$25 gets you two warm fuzzy virtual hugs from Nheena, and your name will forever be on a proclamation that will hang in her Neighborhood!
$50 gets you three warm fuzzy virtual hugs from Nheena, (and maybe one in person if you can find her!) and your name will forever be on a proclamation that will hang in her Neighborhood!
$75 for a picture in the mural of Nheena that will hang in her neighborhood and your name will also be included in the proclamation.
$250 for a graffiti of your name business name on a brick in Nheena's Neighborhood and your name will forever be on a proclamation that will hang there.
$500 for a street sign in Nheena's Neighborhood and your name will forever be on a proclamation that will hang there as well.
